Who we are

BotMatic is a Belgian messaging automation service operated under the BotMatic brand. This policy applies to the BotMatic website, the BotMatic Meta app integrations, and connected Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp business channels.

Data we receive from Meta

• Meta user ID, page ID, account ID and other channel identifiers.
• Username, profile name and profile metadata made available through Meta permissions.
• Message content sent to connected business channels.
• Webhook events such as message delivery, reads, reactions and status events.
• Access tokens and technical configuration data required to keep the connection active.

Why we use this data

• Connecting and operating Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp business channels.
• Handling incoming conversations and sending manual or automated replies on behalf of the connected business.
• Security, reliability, abuse prevention, debugging and service monitoring.

Data sharing and retention

BotMatic does not sell personal data. We only share data with infrastructure providers, contractors or legal authorities when this is required to operate the service or comply with the law.

We retain data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security and meet legal obligations.

How to delete your data

Send a deletion request to info@botmatic.be with subject Data Deletion Request.

Include identifiers like username, phone number, Facebook Page name or Instagram account name so we can locate your records quickly.
